I’m serving as a Program Director at UNC’s Kenan Flagler Business School, where I work in the Executive Development Group. My work focuses on helping leaders at all levels become even more effective in their current role and preparing for their next role. Most of my work involves working with senior leaders in government and nonprofit organizations.
I’ve had twenty-five years of diversified management experience in both the public and corporate sectors, including stints as a principal, HR Director, Accountability Director, Product Manager, and Product Director of a multinational training company, executive development consultant for the NC Principals’ Executive Program, and Director of the Principal Fellows Program, before coming to serve as Program Director in Executive Development.
And, I might say, a terrific asset to our church, especially when we were in a long-term fund-raising drive to build both a new sanctaury and office complex! These goals were quite a challenge, and the new sanctuary wasn’t realized until early this century, but Chris and his saintly wife April help lay the essential foundation for these successes with the unflagging efforts on our building and communications committees.

And, I must add, a tremendous asset to our church’s building and communication committees. Chris and his saintly wife April helped lay the absolutely essential foundations for our dual fund-raising programs for a new sanctuary and office complex. The new sanctuary (and a beautiful one it is, I must say) wasn’t realized until early this century, but it would never have transpired without Chris and April Hitch and their unflagging efforts and support.

Chris, You are an outstanding asset to any executive course. Your ability to draw out the best in participation is remarkable and your extremely pleasant demeanor in doing so is icing on the cake. Thanks for the experience at UNC and the NEBC course. Cheers,
